There are times in life when one just needs to walk away. Sadly, I didnt think that i would feel it so soon after taking a 7 month break. I yet again relize that no matter what i do i cant make everyone like each other, and its frusterating as hell. I just wanna make everything perfect and fix it, I dont even care who does it as long as people are at each others throats. Already tonight I have been told that I think too much and that i take too much upon myself. The two largest faults with me. I feel powerless to change things no matter how hard i try. The group is split and everyone knows it yet no one cares enough to try and fix it. We have one year left where we get to see each other every day. Why does no one really realize that enough to try and get every little bit of greatness out of it? we can never go back. This is it. We can bitch about each other all we want next year and yet we choose to fuck up our last year. This is time for celebrations together not to burn the bridges now. I came home hopeing to find and make the best senior year i can possibly have and all i got in return was pain. I might just take this week off and visit all my really good friends outside of the group and just try and get away from it all. Let things blow over and at least maybe then ill be able to attach to one of the smaller groups then after the split in the crew. Time away does crazy things to you. Returning from England the first time i had the BEST year of my life. 4th grade. I joined all my friends now, i went from having two friends (yea i was a nerd) to having lots of amazing friends. Now i come back agian and go from a great tight knit group of friends to hanging out with 3. At least before i left the frist time i didnt know how great it could be now the dissapointment in everything is really starting to hit me. Agian taking too much upon myself, maybe I could finish my A levels and see if i could get into Edinbrough or Newcastle. At least there i could shoot for a whole new start. Sad how i read mia's posts about how she misses what she left behind and ik jordan felt it too. Maybe it is just that we know that it sucks to miss people you got to see everyday and now that is taken away from you. We know that is going to happen to our lives here to and we dont want it to, but at least we could try and make the best of what we have left. Maybe its just no one else sees it in the same light we do. |

| Last Weekend |

Down to my last weekend in England. Im going to play in a massive frisbee tourny in Eastbourne, which has two different mens tournys and a womens as well all at the same place. Should be a really good weekend, then getting home midnightish on sunday night. Then monday we are leaving 4ish in the afternoon to take the train to Manchester where we are staying in a hotel for the night near the airport then we are flying out on a 1030ish plane from manchester non stop to CHICAGO!!! I will be the happiest i have ever been to see chicago. Then we are taking the Van Galder from chicago o'hare to Madison! hopefully getting the 2 o'clock bus so taht we should be in madison at the memorial union at roughly 5pm. Then hopefully going home and starting to unpack our lives out of boxes and PARTY!!!! Wed im gonna be spending the whole day playing frisbee, swimming and what not at tenney. Anyone else up for it? |

| My Trip |

Its freaky to think today marks it being under a month till i come home. Whos rdy for me to come home? yea thats what i thought no one. Well my last month is going to be full of two tours (ultimate frisbee tournys) a full week in scotland, a couple good bye parties, and some bumming around england with of course the world cup. The country is a touch depressed today tho, what with rooney and his red card and england losing yet agian to Portugal and on PKs no less. Ah well they will get over it in 4 years. Well I hear disco is doing pretty well but the girls are lacking, geez ladies. Dont worry all i will be back for the tourny at the end of the season i believe that if we get a bye the first round then i wont miss any games. So play to get a bye and i wont have to miss any games in the tourny at least. Well thats my update sorry it was kinda boring. |

Well my life has become rather great. It consistes of getting up noonish each day, then sitting eatting reading the paper's recap on the world cup games the day before, maybe showering, then the world cup games begin agian. Tis a great way to spend your time. All that with frisbee thrown in like 4 times a week. Its a great vacation. So pretty much i am now the ultimate summer slug. Altho i think midget and people need to get back from france now, there arent enough people online at strange times. Midget is usually up at 6 so when im up at noon she is on it works out well. Ah well. We (York university ultimate) have a really big tournament the 8th and 9th of july that im started to get really excited for because we are taking our A team. Im clearly Mr T (jk). So i will finally be able to play on our top team where as our team that went to the last tourny wasnt quite so good. Also Seth is coming with us to the the tourny so thatll be fun too. Frisbee people if anyone wants any York frisbee stuff let me know. I can bring home discs or get em sent to you all if you guys want em. They have a pretty sweet design. Well thats whats up with me thus far. |

We would like another driver for the trip to and from minneapolis on wed after finals. Gas and probably food will be on me for the trip, itll be a sweet road trip and mean that you all will get to see me. This will be the last chance till aug 1. Well had things gone as planned, I would have showed up to the post finals party next thursday. I was getting the bus right after i got in to minneapolis and taking that for 5 and a half hours staying the night at our house and then surprising everyone (cept jonah who was my inside man on party details) there after you had all finished ur finals. I would have then gone to northfield on friday morning to not see you all till aug 1. But it turns out that all transportation in the US from minneapolis to madison hates my guts. i can fly from anywhere in england to any major city in europe for $80 yet thats that same amount it would take me to get a train from the twin cities to columbus the nearest train station. The buses wont take me and there are no other modes that i can either think of or do to allow me to arrive in madison. Thus short of a car magically appearing in minneapolis for me im afraid there is nothing in my power that i can do to come and visit. Im really sorry guys i tried damn hard, but after multiple hours on the net looking for ways to get to madison i came up empty. Hence my pissed off fox. So sorry all but i wont be able to see you guys still Aug 1 unless u come visit me in the twin cities during finals week. |

Right well today is a big day for everyone cause its the PI MILE WOOT WOOT! oh and maybe prom too..... Right well since i probably wont be talking to most of you since ik youll all be doing ur hair and ik how long it takes some of you to do that (alex). Well no one do anything that i wouldnt do tonight, have a great time, and take PICTURES. Also if i dont get pics by the end of tomorrow there will be no chance of my coming to visit while im in the US in under a month. But remember have a great time for me. And if you get drunk just remember be better than 90% of our school and what ever you do just dont get pregnant (yes that includes you alex, i dont wanna hear you got a baby on the way cause the world wouldnt be able to deal with it). |

Right well im home! i had the best week of my life in rome (that is best until i come home to all you guys). Rome is the best city in the world to visit. I loved it. I have now also hit double digits for countries woot woot. with the vatican that is. and yes i took roughly 400 pics for you guys. I wont put them all online cause thatd take till i got home. but i will try and put them up somewhere and post a link so you can all look at my pretty pics with my awesome new camera. Well this week i bought two jerseys cause thats all the clothing i ever buy here, shades cause they are really cheap, and a really big copy of my favourite piece of art in the world which i got to see in the vatican this week. The school of athens by raphalle. I hope to put it in my room at home and frame it. Probably will be housed there till im done with college but it really is a sweet piece of art. We also got to go into the chapelle sistina and into san piertro (saint peter's and the sistine chappel). Both amazing places. So pretty much everything big that anyone has ever heard of in Rome we went and saw this week so that was awesome. We even got to watch a champions league game of AC Milan and Barcalona in Italian which is crazy to watch an italian team play with italian annoucers, great fun, too bad AC Milan lost but oh well. I dont even know how to describe the food other than if you ever get a chance to go to Rome eat everything u can it was the best food i have ever had, it tops coquita (i think that was her name) in nicaragua. Well probably more later im kinda tired tonight so we shall see. |

My father just told me today something a little scary to think about. Roughly friday is the middle of my trip here. Its kinda scary to think that it has gone so quickly by.
Well as you all might know i have had this week and will have next week off of school due to easter. We had some relatives here from saturday to tuesday morning and so we just stayed around here on sunday while they explored york and on monday we went out to malham scar and fountains abbey. Both places that i remember from last time but hadnt been to yet since we have been here. Both were WONDERFUL and everything i remembered about them. Malham scar is a rock/cliff formation thingy that look like dried mud how it breaks into small sections but the breaks are multiple feet deep and so its lots of fun to climb around on them, but not in them. Fountains abbey is one of only two World Heritage sites in the UK the other being stonehenge. It is the largest abbey ruin of its type in the world. Thus very very spectacular and wonderful to have a good camera to take pics of it with.
Tuesday my dad went to work and i got up late so my mum and i went shopping to mall thingy here in york that i had never been too. its quite strange because all the stores are the same size and dont connect on the inside so much diff than our malls but still kinda nice.
Wed all three of us left to go to lyndisfarne probably the most famous of the ruined abbeys because of its history. It was the site of the most famous illuminated manuscript i.e. handcopied bibles way way way back in the day. Stunning book but its not residing in the british museum in London but it is a monastary that you can only drive out to while it is low tide otherwise it becomes an island. Very cool and im thinking i should see if i can do that to tenney that way we could keep jonah out at high tide? whatcha guys think? right well so we made our way up there stopping at a castle on our way up which was still in very good condition and not ruined so that was pretty cool to see. We then at one took a boat trip out around the Farne islands. The Farne islands are known to be one of the largest nesting islands for birds in all of the british isles. Home to over 100,000 nestins pairs last year. Many of them puffins. So there were thousands of birds on the rocks. Many great pics of that that i should show to you all at some point not sure when or how. Many other birds also were nesting there. Also the inner farne island is known also for one of the most famous saints in england whos name was st cuthburt who took to the inner farne and became a hermit for multiple years (i would too if my name was cuthburt). He always was called away by the king of england to be the bishop of lyndisfarne for a few years and right before he died he returned to live and die in solitude on inner farne once agian. This is a guy i think murkve should look up. perhaps a new hero? since he wants to become a hermit, he could go and live with the birds on inner farne, theres a nice little hut thingy.
Then today, thurs, we went out to lyndisfarne the island at low tide and went to the priory (abbey thingy) and looked around there, then came home and stopped at a castle on the way home, and now im here writing lots and lots of stuff so that you all can know how unlucky you all are since u had to go to school today. i mean ah so you can all be happy for me getting this wonderful break. that is how you guys are feeling right?
well congrats on getting three points on west guys i hope you all let them know we are gonna beat them next year. and will someone beat a frosh for me just to let them know whos boss (not including karl unless its alex and they are playing video games in which case its ok). That and keep thor's hammer alive while im gone. Well hope school is getting slightly better and just think u guys are on the home stretch now 4th quarter. Just gotta finish strong. Give it 110% (british maths have helped me). Bring ur A game. Take it one day at a time. any other crappy sports cliche's i can toss in there? oh well you get the point. I want updates on prom as it draws closer. |

right well here to be nice to everyone you can copy the stupid survey out of someone elses info and fill it out for me. Hows that?
Oh right and England rocks, great weather and the champions league (the best soccer clubs in europe play each other play) is on right now so that rocks. Lots of visitors recently more too come with a two week break for the next two with me going to ROME with my family for the second one. So thats gonna rock! Oh and school is really good cause they have all finished teaching and now every class is revision for these massive test thingys that mean nothing to me so i just mess around, its great. You should all really go to a new country cause school becomes a joke its great. Well hope all is going well back home and the snow will melt soon, hehehe its been 60ish here with sun (and yes it turns out they do know what the sun is Who knew right?). |

well you all suck for having spring break since i dont have one. But oh well come easter i get two weeks off and i get to go to rome for one of them so that will make up for it. That and school is a joke here so i guess its unfair in my favor right sorry i mean favour stupid brits adding things. colour. see i told ya they was crazy. Right well Hope everyone is going to enjoy their break from school and have fun visiting colleges Brittany and jonah (Northfield rocks) and for everyone else have fun being lazy not waking up till noon eating junk food and playing video games like i know you all will. Well just think of me while all that is happening and at least i will be there in spirit. Well all goes quite well here in case any of you actually cared or not. But now that you guys are on break i expect you all to be online wasting your lives away more than usual. Have fun without school guys! |

Yes that is right i still know my password and do check it every once in a while. I just dont write in here, well that might change we shall have to see. Well life is really good atm. Well so life on this side of the pond has been really good thus far, have made good friends with some really nice people mostly girls but hey thats just who i am right? Sexy new guy from America i got it all going for me right? well i will hopefully get pics of them too. We shall see. Joined the footy team (soccer for those of you who need translations) the school team which is nice but they suck. They also dont care about their sports so no one really goes to the games and stuff but oh well ill try and change that. The frisbee story looks good atm a friend from church from the last time we were here (a college student then) is the frisbee guru for all of york and now plays for Leeds (the nearest big city) so i have played with him a couple times, not on his team but just pick up games and so it looks like i will be playing for someone not sure who yet, the two possibilities are the york university team or the york city team. we shall see. Sorry all that i cant help you in your new division and all this year, ill be there for the play off tho, and maybe even a league game or two we shall see.
Our house is really small but completely functional and thats all that really matters. We just bought a car so that is really nice to have because it is somehting that we didnt have last time altho i can not drive because insurance on a teenager is completely awful and so no one here does it and it isnt worth it for me while we are here. So no driving for me. Oh well i really dont have that much access to a car like i do at home so not too big of a deal. I hear lots has happened at home hope you guys keep me posted. And if there are any questions just leave em and i shall try and answer them. And when i return i hope to have a sweet collection of dagger letter openers, my collection thus far is at two (including excalibur, WOOT WOOT). hehe yea im a loser ik dont worry. Hope all is going well at home. |

well im about to leave for paris. ill be gone till wednesday night. Hope to see everyone when i get back. I will hopefully be like santa with a giant bag of presents but we shall see how big santa's wallet is. well im gonna go and have the time of my life while u guys have to go to school on monday tuesday and wednesday hahahaha. just think of me basking in the warm paris sun eating really really good food and not going to school. well at the end of the summer i end up actually getting a job so thats cool. im working at an orchard picking apples and driving trucks (thats right its legal baby!) i get $6 an hour so that not too bad for hanging out and doing fun stuff. so its whenever i can get time to go and work, but that means not during the week because i got soccer for 5 hours a day and 2 for drives ed. the 1 o clock drivers ed class is awesome we all just screwed around with vicki for the whole two hours so i changed from the 4 class cause thats when i got soccer pratice. well so soccer started today at 7am we run probably 10 milesish just jogging not includeding the indian run which was probably about 8 laps around the MATC fields so thats alot more that and wind sprints. but i stretched out really well so i wont be too bad tomarrow but i had a pretty bad practice and i think ill shoot myself not seriously but if i make JV cause opponeer is coaching and hes a TERRIBLE coach. he coaches us like we were still playing rec ITS HIGH SCHOOL. so i really really gotta push it and get in really good shape and make varsity. we got 10 open spots from seniors last year so we are all fighting for the spots idk if i can make it but i really gotta try hard. so wed. we start try outs. we start with a timed 3 mile in the morning with your group. my group is mike a frosh who is pretty cool, sam crossley, stoker, tc, and jay a frosh who is bad but we are all in pretty good shape so i gotta do really well on it for varsity and pick up my skills alot. but oh well maybe more later like when i find out what i made but idk. well im off to veg after the second pratice. later. |

well today sucks. i didnt make the good princeton team, im an alternate but im gonna have to play on classic for this year. meaning i gotta get into super good shape and try and make a spot on the team for the spring, because he said he would move people around if he felt someone was better or what not. so i gotta hope that i can make a spot or that someone who has a spot doesnt wanna play so that i get their spot. i really really wanted to make it but what ever. i still got east to try and make it for. going for varsity but that might not happen either. but oh well i gotta try and hope. |

yes well lets see here life goes on and you all knwo what ive done because ive either told you about it or you were there and isnt too much of a point of putting it into words but oh well. this is really more for anyone who is going to play a fall sport or just wants to get into really good shape before school starts and lives around me. i know that at least al is in when he gets back from his vacation but by then we shall have already started i hope. well i was thinking that who ever wanted to can start running long distances one day and then the next do sprints everyother day and do weights and stuff like that to work on muscles anyone who is in let me know by calling me or leaving something here in a comment. lars your gonna have to if your gonna do soccer cause otherwise you will die the first two weeks of soccer i guarentee it. well josh lars lucas? jordan? if u guys want in let me know i hope to start either this week or next monday not really sure but i hope u guys will be in cause itll be good for ya and it will be alot of fun. more details if you let me know ur in. |
